The last days of 2009 and the first ones of 2010 were spent in the north of Italy, Milano and Lago di Como. This last one is the subject of this post. In the village of Lenno, in the western shore of Lago di Como, stands Villa Balbianello, where some of the Star Wars scenes were shot for "The Attack of The Clones". The 2 scenes I am posting are from the first kiss and also from Anakin´s and Padme´s secret marriage. The beautiful natural scenario was the ideal to represent the planet Naboo, homeland of Queen Amidala, where she and Anakin ended up falling in love.
In the end of the post I placed some of my own photographs from a nearest spot, and from a far one also. In this time of the year the Villa Balbianello and its´ gardens are closed, opening for the new season in March 2010, which was a pity...
Hope some day many of you can have the chance to take a closer look to it :)

Os últimos dias de 2009 e os primeiros de 2010 foram passados no norte de Itália, em Milano e no Lago di Como. Este último é o tema deste post. Na vila de Lenno, na margem oeste do Lago di Como, fica a Villa Balbianello, onde algumas das cenas do filme "O Ataque dos Clones" foram filmadas. Os 2 momentos que aqui coloco são do primeiro beijo e também do casamento secreto de Anakin e Padmé. O belíssimo cenário natural foi o ideal para representar Naboo, planeta de origem da Rainha Amidala, onde ela e Anakin acabaram por se apaixonar.
No final do post coloquei algumas fotos minhas de um local mais próximo e de outro mais distante. Nesta altura do ano a Villa Balbianello está fechada, bem como os seus jardins, reabrindo apenas em Março, o que foi uma pena...
Espero que um dia muitos de vocês tenham a oportunidade de a ver mais de perto :)
