As a Star Wars fan, it´s my dream to attend a Star Wars Celebration, but so far I wasn't able to go. But I know I will, soon rather than later.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Official Teaser & poster

I assume every Star Wars fan already watched the official teaser for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but it´s never too much to keep spreading the word and read the reactions. 

At the same time, an amazing poster was put out there and maaaaaaaaaaaan!!!, isn´t it awesome?!

If any of you guys know when the next teaser/trailer would be coming out, please let me know. This padawan here would be forever grateful :)

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" Celebration TRAILER 2

Soooooo awesome, I´m just DYING to see Vader on the next trailer!!!

I must say that I´m happy that the more rough and darker tone of the movie seems to be kept, and the "Vader effect" should help significantly to it. But I still feel that we won´t get as much of Vader as we want, let´s hope not :D

Today, the Daily Mail has released a ton of new aerial photos of several outdoor Episode VIII sets at Pinewood Studios in London. The photos give us our latest look at the Millennium Falcon and a new location on Ahch-To, as well as other buildings under construction. Of course, the following photos could be considered spoilers, so if you don't want to see or know anything about Episode VIII, I suggest you stop reading now. This is your official SPOILER ALERT."

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - 1st impressions

After watching the trailer a dozen times, like many of you, I went through some frames to spot some familiarities. Before I share what it pleased my eye, it´s important to say that concerning "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", I´m pretty much the amateur. The reason... None! I simply decided to embrace Rogue One as a fresh approach to the Star Wars Universe, so I decided not to read, learn or watch anything related to it until today, so I could be absolutely baffled! So far, it´s working.

So let´s dig in!

"Rebel" Diego Luna seems to study Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso) as Mon Mothma explains her many "abilities".

Yes, she rebels! And we like it.

Mon Mothma´s (played by Genevieve O´Reilly) smile says it all!

This frame of the Death Star is mind blowing! The scale of it is simply astonishing.

The familiar translucent Rebel screens are everywhere. 

Rebels and more Rebels getting ready. The "usual" type of Rebel base seems to be part of Rogue One  too - forest world, under an ancient construction, with dark rooms full of translucent screens. 

I wish I knew who this Imperial is... The white outfit approach seems a perfect fit.

Forest Whitaker! I´m so curious to see if his role will continue in the next movies (stories type ones).

Kick ass Trooper!

These Troopers seem equipped for a Forest type terrain, pretty much like the 41st Elite Corps in the Battle of Kashyyyk.

Blind Jedi with a stick? Was he the one to crash land that X-Wing back there? I bet he´ll kick the butt of all these Stormtroopers.

More dark Troopers... Are they Shadow Troopers? I hope so :)

This spaceship is too similar to Kylo Ren´s vessel in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Did he stole the idea from a previous Sith wannabe?

Emperor´s Royal Guards! This has to be something awesome... Are we standing before a new Sith? Or an already known Dark Lord?... I say option 2. I wish Palpatine or Vader popped from there...

AT-AT Walkers in a caribbean background? Coolness! I wonder if this Walker shooting up these Rebels is Blizzard 1... maybe we get to see General Veers again.

Now this is the image that got me totally hooked! Will Jyn Erso become an Imperial or is she simply on a mission, as Mon Mothma states in the early seconds of the trailer? She has some Japanese inspired gear (or is she ready to fly a Tie Fighter?), something that seems to be part of the whole movie with some very interesting characters being added.

Have you guys realized that we will have at least 1 Star Wars movie per year in the near future? How far was this a few years ago?...

If only December was tomorrow...

Brace yourself!!! Star Wars: Episode VIII is now filming

Great news peeps!

Star Wars: Episode VIII is filming since two days, and the cast is confirmed.

Can´t wait for further developments on new cast members, but so far, here´s what you can expect:

Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is written and directed by Rian Johnson and continues the storylines introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, welcomes back cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis.  New cast members will include Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro, Academy Award nominee Laura Dern, and talented newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer analysis

Alright Star Wars fans, what are your thoughts on these:

- Rey knows who she is, she knows about her heritage, she´s just playing with us. Which leads us to:

- She is running from it, from her family (is she Han and Leia´s daughter?)

- Rey and Kylo are siblings? Are they somehow relatives? Brothers, cousins...

- Is BB-8 a female droid?

- What does Kylo Ren mean when he says "I will finish what you started"? Will he bring Vader back from the dead?

- Is Luke in exile or was he sent/forced into exile?

- Did Luke trained the Knights of Ren and they went rogue? Luke promised to restore the Jedi Order and maybe he was gathering Force sensitive people during these 30 years between Episode VI and VII

- Is that furry body in front of a crying Rey, Chewie? (dead or possibly injured)

- And who´s that voice in the end and to whom is she talking to? Is it Leia talking to Rey, Finn or Kylo Ren? Might be Poe as well..

To wrap this up, why´s Rey pending to the Dark Side in the new poster?…

Just think about it for a few seconds and about the theory that her and Kylo can be relatives.

What are the Mandalorian symbols in the new Star Wars trailer?

The new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has plenty of information that your eyes might not catch the first time you´re watching it (as a fan, I hope you saw it at least 13 times in a row). One of the things I found more interesting is the Mandalorian Symbols at the entrance of a castle/temple? Is it Maz Kanata´s hive? (when we see Han, Rey and Finn passing by a big robot - pic below). Probably yes, but as many other things, we can only speculate about it at the moment.

Besides the panoply of colored flags, we see some Mandalorian imagery, like the Krybes. The Krybes is probably the most known Mandalorian symbol (printed in Boba Fett´s armor) and it represents a Mythosaurus skull, ancient creature that it is said to have wondered in Mandalore before the Taung arrived (there are other theories about what the Krybes represents, so feel free to check which one suits you best). There´s another symbol there but it´s unknown to me (unless it´s the wheat symbol of the house Fett), so if you know what´s that please let me know.

Another interesting thing about Mandalorians in this new trailer, is when Kylo Ren appears with the (presumable) Knights of Ren. It seems that the guy on the far left is a Mandalorian. Just sayin´...

And, in case you didn´t know, which I think you do, that´s where Kylo took his surname from.

All in all, it was another mind blowing trailer, the darkest one so far! We see plenty of killing, some blood, tears and sweat, scared and reluctant faces but also (finally!!!) Leia and Han in a sad hug, which leads me to believe that this won´t end as "light sided" as in the original trilogy.

Can´t wait for December the 16th...

Can´t wait for December the 16th! Because yes, in Amsterdam we can see it 2 days before :D

UK folks have to wait 1 more day and in the U.S. only on the 18th. But I won´t spoil it for you guys.

Han and Chewie final concept art revealed

As time approaches, more and more things are revealed about "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens". Some days ago we got to know more about how Han and Chewbacca will (approximately) be, in the next movie. There are rumors that the Wookiee might have a bionic arm, but in the concept art that is not clear.

No we want to see Leia and Luke!

A week ago, Entertainment Weekly revealed the names of the characters that show up in the 88sec teaser.

Good news!

The month of May is full of great news!

As always we had May the 4th, with tons of incredible deals and bargains from lots of brands. I had my share with Lego, I got an amazing R2-D2 for a very good price. As a bonus, Lego offered a poster and a mini figure of Darth Revan, pretty cool!

Then, in the 14th of May, we had to "thank the Maker", to quote C-3PO. It was George Lucas´ birthday and I´m sure we all hope he still has many more to come.

Also during this month, we heard rumours that a new name was being given to the new movie, "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Ancient Fear". Check MovieWeb for more details.

We also had new from Del Rey Books, about a new title to be released this November, "Tarkin" by writer James Luceno. Indeed some I wish to read!

And today, the announcement that the official filming (whatever this means) had began! All of us fans already some some pics in Dubai of the preparations, a foot of a AT-At Walker or something similar if I recall, but today The Star Wars Underworld gave us this article that you should check.

All in all, May has been a terrific month for Star Wars fans, and we hope it continues to be with more thrilling news and updates about the new movie and the E.U.
